The Hydroderm Facial: clean, exfoliate, hydrate
A Hydroderm Facial is a deep-cleansing, resurfacing treatment that exfoliates while using fluid and suction to loosen buildup, clear out pores, and leave the skin feeling incredibly smooth and hydrated. I like it because you get that really clean, polished feeling without the dryness you can sometimes get from more aggressive exfoliation. I can also customize the finishing products based on what your skin needs that day, so it works well for everything from dullness and congestion to dehydration and uneven texture.
Best for congested, dull, dehydrated or rough-textured skin, especially if you have buildup, blackheads or clogged pores. It's also a great choice if you want a really thorough clean and exfoliation with that smooth, hydrated, fresh-faced look afterward, without the downtime of a more aggressive resurfacing treatment.
How it compares
HydraFacial is a specific brand and device. A Hydroderm Facial uses a similar concept of fluid-based exfoliation and suction, but it is not a HydraFacial treatment; I customize the products, exfoliation and finishing care based on your skin rather than following the branded system. A Microdermabrasion Facial is a drier, more traditional resurfacing treatment that physically exfoliates the surface with a diamond-tip and suction; I usually choose it when exfoliation and texture are the bigger goal rather than hydration. A Nano-Infusion Facial is much more about product penetration and a plump, polished glow: tiny nano tips work very superficially on the outermost layers to help your customized serums absorb, with no needles and essentially no downtime. Easy way to think about it: Hydroderm = clean + exfoliate + hydrate. Microdermabrasion = resurface + polish. Nano-infusion = infuse + plump + glow.
Before and after
Avoid retinoids, scrubs, exfoliating acids and other strong actives for about 3–5 days beforehand, and avoid waxing, sunburn and excessive sun right before. Makeup is completely fine; I'll cleanse it off. Downtime is usually minimal: some temporary pinkness, mild sensitivity or tightness can happen, especially after extractions, and settles within a few hours to a day. For the next 24–48 hours keep things simple with a gentle cleanser, hydrating moisturizer and SPF 30+, and hold stronger actives for about 3–5 days. It works beautifully as a one-time treatment; for congestion, dehydration or rough texture I may recommend a short series every 2–4 weeks, then every 4–6 weeks for maintenance.
This is a fully customized treatment, not a one-size-fits-all facial. I adjust the exfoliation, suction, hydration and extractions based on what your skin actually needs and can tolerate. You can see a beautiful result after one treatment, but concerns like congestion, texture and acne usually improve best with consistency.

Common questions
Is nano-infusion the same as microneedling?
No. Nano-infusion is painless, non-invasive, and has no downtime. It does not create the controlled micro-injuries used in traditional microneedling for collagen induction and more corrective concerns such as acne scarring. It is the gentler option for clients who want a comfortable treatment with no needles and no downtime.
What does a Teen Facial include?
A customized treatment for teen skin and common concerns such as excess oil, clogged pores, blackheads, and breakouts — appropriate exfoliation and extractions, plus simple, realistic home-care guidance.
Can I get a Hydroderm Facial if I have acne?
Often, yes. It can be especially helpful for clogged pores, blackheads and mild congestion. If your acne is very inflamed, cystic, irritated or your skin barrier is compromised, I may modify the treatment or recommend something gentler first.
Is a Hydroderm Facial a HydraFacial?
No. HydraFacial is a specific brand and device. A Hydroderm Facial uses a similar concept of fluid-based exfoliation and suction, but I customize the products, exfoliation and finishing care based on your skin rather than following the branded system.
What is a Back Facial?
A deep-cleansing treatment for the back targeting clogged pores, breakouts, buildup, and rough texture, with professional exfoliation, extractions when appropriate, a targeted mask, and finishing care.
Times shown are treatment time; the calendar block may be a little longer.
