This page explains how designmyface.com, the website of Marissa at Skin Therapy with Marissa in Bentonville, Arkansas, handles the information you share with us online. Appointment scheduling, payments and any health information you give before a treatment are handled by the practice’s scheduling system and the in-person intake, which have their own policies; this page is about the website.

We collect what you choose to give us: your name, email address and phone number when you book, contact us, join the Skin Journal, ask Marissa a question, take the skin check or request a referral link; the notes and answers you add to those forms; and, if you share them, before-and-after photos for your account and the Lookbook. We also keep the choices you make about text messages and email.

To book and confirm your visits, answer your questions, send the reminders and news you opted into, run the referral and loyalty programmes, publish results you have approved, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your information, and we share it only with the services that run the site and the practice (hosting, email, text messaging, analytics and error monitoring), each of which is bound to use it only for that work.

We only text you if you ask us to. The booking form has two separate checkboxes, one for appointment reminders and one for offers and news, and they are unchecked until you check them. If we have no record of you choosing one, we send nothing on that channel. You can change either choice at any time from your account page.

Reminders relate to a visit you have booked. Offers and news are occasional, and never more than three of them reach you in a day. We do not text before 8am or after 9pm in your own local time.

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts from us, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. We do not sell or share your phone number, and we do not use it for anything other than the messages you opted into.

Change your message preferences

Before-and-after photos appear on this site only with the patient’s permission, never with a name, and only for as long as that permission stands. Reviews are quoted as the patient published them, with first name and initial. You can withdraw a photo or a story at any time from your account or by contacting us.

The site uses cookies to keep you signed in and to remember choices such as a saved draft or a filter. We use analytics services, including Google Analytics, to see which pages are visited and where the booking flow loses people, and an error monitor so we hear about problems before you have to tell us. If you arrive from one of our Google ads, Google is told whether that visit led to a booking, so we know which ads are worth running. None of this is used to show you ads on other sites.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information this site holds about you, change your message preferences, or withdraw a photo or review at any time. Email marissa@designmyface.com or use the contact page.
