Our commitment
Everyone should be able to read about Marissa’s treatments, book a visit, ask a question and manage their account on this site, whatever device or assistive technology they use. designmyface.com aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
What we do
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and a “skip to main content” link, so a screen reader can move through them.
- Every form field has a label, every image a text alternative, and prices and durations are written out for screen readers.
- Menus, dialogs, the booking calendar and the photo compare slider work from the keyboard; focus is visible.
- Text and controls keep at least a 4.5:1 contrast ratio, and layouts reflow to a phone without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is reduced or removed when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Automated accessibility checks run on every public page before a change goes live, and the site is reviewed by hand at phone and desktop sizes.
Known limitations
Some before-and-after photos include lettering that is part of the picture (for example “before” and “after” labels); the caption repeats what they say. The Lookbook video is captioned in the video itself and described in text beside it. If you find anything that does not work for you, we want to know.
